N’koué Emmanuel Sambiéni

Dr. N’koué Emmanuel Sambiéni is a lecturer-researcher in health socioanthropology at the University of Parakou, Benin, and the Director of the Laboratory for Research and Studies on Social Dynamics and Local Development (LASDEL), Benin. He is a specialist in public health policies, mainly in the fields of maternal health, the health of children and adolescents, and diseases. Since October 2012, he has taught several courses, including the anthropology of diseases, health and development in the South, communication for development in health, methodology of research in the social sciences, applications of sociology and anthropology, etc. As a socio-anthropologist, he is particularly skilled in qualitative methodology, a methodology that straddles the long method of classical anthropology leading to the learning of the language of the field and the quantitative method of sociology.
