Dr. Kadidiatou Kadio is a researcher in sociology at the Institut de Recherche en Science de la Santé (IRSS – Health Sciences Research Institute), Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso which is one of the four institutes of the National Centre for Scientific and Technological Research (CNRST) of Burkina Faso. Her research interest includes social protection issues, analysis of health policies and systems, inequalities and social exclusion, access to population care, equity, empowerment, knowledge sharing and use. She holds a PhD in Applied Human Science from the University of Montreal, a Master’s degree in Population and Health, a Master’s degree in Social Psychology from the University of Ouagadougou, and a certificate in Health Policy Analysis from the Institute of Tropical Medicine of Antwerp.
